All plastics and colorants used in Quality Bead Craft's beads conform to United States Government Consumer Child Safety Improvement Act. This law limits the amount of lead and certain other harmful elements to less then 100 parts / million. We have certification from Spectra Plastics that all materials we purchase from them for our beads meet the highest US Government standards. You know you are safe crafting with QBC plastic beads. The light weight of plastic beads make them highly desirable for jewelry. Transparent beads are crystal clear with light refraction as brilliant as a glass bead. The opaque beads have a wide range of stunning colors for beautiful creations. * * Remember, even though our plastic beads are free of lead and other contaminants, the small size of our beads make them a choking hazzard, unsafe for use by young children. We also offer metal plated plastic beads ideal for the discriminating jewelry designer. We send our quality plastic beads to an American plating company located in Rhode Island, USA. They conform to all US Government standards for plating. We offer 24 k gold, silver, nickel and copper plated beads for your creations. * * Plated beads may contain trace amounts of lead contaminants. Our beads are available for sale by the case of beads or smaller quantities of beads in Q Bags and are sold world wide through bead distributors and wholesalers. Our minimum order is $500 for bead case orders and $150 for beads in packages or Q Bags.
